Got a few questions rolled into one.
Im currently with primus/fuel. Im tied in for about another 12 months. Firstly if i cancel is it the broadband charge which is roughly £2 a month or is it the line rental cost as well?
Its currently a nightmare. We cant really get a signal upstairs. I just tried to stream a movie through chromecast downstairs and it was constantly buffering so gave up. I have done a speed test on u switch and came out at 4meg lol. If i change to the likes of bt/ virgin etc do you actually get much better?. Also are the speeds actually the broadband or is it more likely ro be the crap router i got for free with them.if i just get a better router will it make a big difference. If i dochangd to bt will i get a top router or will i then stoll be stuck with good broadband and a bad router. I keep looking online and keep getting conflictong reports. Everyone seems unhappy with all providers. Thanks a lot

Depends upon your contract but usually both .
You need to measure your speed via Ethernet cable from the master socket .
Upstairs presume that's a WiFi connection that could be due to a poor router or a bad house re walls etc for transmission .
Chrome cast is wifi so again same as above applies .
The BT Home Hub 5 is a decent router with decent wifi .0 -
I'm with Fuel/Primus and I'm pretty sure that you have to buy out your whole contract ie line rental and whatever you pay for broadband and calls. If you paid in advance for our line rental then you simply loose what you paid, no refund.
My speed is very slow (2mb) but it is a problem with where I live rather than with the supplier.0
