Cameras get their power from the DVR. No seperate power cable for the camera.0
-
No worries. Do the cables that go from the camera have a connector on the end?
You have three options
a) Buy new DVR, connect BNC (video cable) into the new DVR. Leave the old dvr plugged in and use that as the power supply for the cameras.
b) Find a 12vDC transformer that has adequate current output. Cut all the connectors off the camera leads. Put all the Positives together in one connector strip, all the Negatives together in the other connector strip and connect the transformer in that way. Very simple. But if you do it wrong or don't know what your doing there is a risk of blowing camera/transformer/both.
c)Buy a standalone PSU but you may have the same issue as option B if you can't use a multimeter
Any more questions?0 -
CPC are great. I've ordered many things from them without any issues.0

we got a similar issue ...does the DVR have a network port RJ45?
if so connect to your router....you can access the dvr via a laptop (ours does not work on Win 8 ) then connect your to the laptop using some app for remote working0
