My pleasure. Hope the scan went well and the results are as desired.

Doozergirl and I will have to find another way of establishing whether we can turn up the the St. Panc Grand in our trainers and proceed to breastfeed.

Scan went well, thanks. Pancreas was booked out. No objection to my trainers, but did not try breast feeding.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Tbh, my knowledge of processed cheese is not that broad ranging. Does it bust the wrapper?

All this processed cheese talking is making me want one of those triangle cheeses, laughing cow. ( which macputer takes more seriously than I and wants to correct to, laughing vow)

It sort of leeches out round the seams rather than totally busting, not pleasant though and the book had to be cancelled.

Someone also returned a book absolutely covered in curry sauce then was annoyed when we said they would be charged for it. They said "why, people can still read it". It was a new paperback. They were very miffed at having to buy the book. We delete any books that are a bit grotty.

Anyhoo - back to me. Just sent an email I've been putting off since early yesterday morning. I'm off to buy something super unhealthy from the canteen to get over it. I'm definitely not in the 'eats salad under stress' category :o

If you sent it having only been putting it off for 30 hours or so then you are an amateur procrastinator. I can put off urgent emails for way longer than that!

Seriously, well done for facing up to it.

In that case, I think you chose the best one. The pick of the litter, so to speak. I think that, if you have a choice between charm, brightness, or kindness, you should choose kindness. FIR is quite obviously *extremely* clever, as well as being charming in an understated sort of way.

    What GDB said. :)

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I always think we should do a proper thank you for presents rather than just a text or phone call. This then turns into a plan that the kids will make a nice picture or video that I will email. This then ends up with nothing being done at all or the idea beign started but never quite making it from the camera to the PC or whatever and eventually em rather sheepishly saying thank you possibly weeks later next time I speak to the gift giver on the phone....

    Are you me?

Faced up to that bit, but not managing to face up to the rest of it. My first choice would be to be hiding from the world, at home, in bed. Oh well - here I am in the office.

How long will it take you to get oop Notth (herts ;))? Can you get to where you need to go directly/ how many changes.

I lived in Kilburn for a bit (not so far away) and loved it. but then i hated the place I lived after that so there might be some rose-tinted memories there.

My god Herts will be North! :D

It'll be less than an hour, one change. The past year it has taken me over an hour to go 8 miles, so it won't be a problem to do that. I did like the look of Kilburn but QP is slightly more convenient overground-wise.Actually I tell a lie I'm thinking of Kensal rise! Getting confused already.
