  • Definitely TK Maxx - some really good quality pans at low prices. And if you only need two or three it's a good place to pick up individual ones

My Tefal pans wouldn't work on our induction hob, they were old but in good condition so my son had them when he moved into a flat. I think the ones I have now were fairly cheap Imperial (Ready Steady Cook), Cooks Essentials and some others that I can't find a name for but on the base they have lots of Cs inside one another. They all work well and are very light which is good for me lol.

I have used induction hob for 4 years(thats the background)
Magnet is an easy way to find if it would work on induction hob. Always buy heavy bottom pans.
I bought mine from ikea and palmers - all tefal
A few things - the cooking method is very different if you have been using electric hob or gas. The pans heat up very quickly and you might burn the food, its probably start with low power setting.
All the malarchy of the induction hob being cool is horse !!!! - please dont touch it after cooking on it for more than 15 minutes.

I got mine from Tesco, just make sure they are suitable for Induction hobs. Love mine they are very easy to clean. The hob just needs a wipe over with a damp cloth.
