Overnight in caravan in winter & extra toilet needed for Xmas guests

Why don't you get a portaloo thing but explain to your (sober) guests that if they want to pee, use the portaloo if it's available.
Anything else then use the real porcelain.
Hell you could even turn it into an Xmas party game.0 -
Caravans have for many years been fitted with blown air heating (a sort of mini central heating which sends the heat all around through a system of pipes). This works safely using either gas or electricity. No need to have a small electric heater.
Insulation has improved greatly and newer caravans will have Grade 3 which is installed to allow use all year round.
We use ours as extra accommodation at all times of year when invaded by the family.
The caravan fridge is also really useful for storing the extra drinks.
Yea, that's why I was asking the make/model/age of caravan as it sounded like an old van that only has gas heating.
If this was the case, some people, unused to the system, might be happier using an electric radiator.
Hiring a caravan still sounds a bad idea to me.0 -
I'm with sniggings, I'd rather wait an hour to use the loo in the house than go out to a caravan or portaloo! If you're looking at spending a few hundred renting something, can't you add on a separate loo somewhere in your house? Okay it'd cost more than that but if you plan to have other Christmasses at your house, it could work out okay.0
