UKPC are easy to beat even if you admit to being the driver.

Have taken great delight in costing UKPC £100's in lost revenue from motorists as it was them targeting a disabled relative and blue badge which got me involved helping on this forum in the first place. (Did do a rather long appeal with a whole page dedicated to discrimination with different descriptors)

Do put in the appeal that their parking attendant has no legal rights to inspect the validity of any vehicles displaying blue badges on private land as indeed already stated it is not relevant or applicable on private land.

(Even the police do not have that power of inspection on private land)
  • Didn't hear back from UKPC yesterday so maybe they're not interested in sorting this out. I'll wait to see if they phone as the landowners said they would, but if I haven't heard on monday I'll put it all in writing. Was just hoping to quash this quickly.

I can't imagine any phone call from UKPC will be anything other than one giving you more grief. It's standard forum advice never to have phone calls with PPCs (or debt collectors).
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

When I spoke to one of the store managers yesterday she contacted the centre manager on my behalf, who in turn contacted UKPC and the message came back that someone from there was going to phone me. I was hoping (false hope maybe but hoping nontheless) that they would phone and tell me the notice had been recinded.

  • I would just call the centre management office myself on monday morning and make a complaint, tell them you will contact the local newspapers too if it is not cancelled - not good publicity, especially coming up to christmas!
This happened to me in a co-op store, I went home and emailed the CEO of the Co-op and received an email back and a cancelled ticket within two hours!

Can you re-type post #28 as there is a 'settings glitch' at the moment, caused by a spam attack overnight, making some posts temporarily unreadable.
