  • I also purchased a dress and have not received it - currently seeking help from my bank. Just for everyone's info, since ordering, have found the exact same items on ebay, they come from China hence the time delay in postage but they cost around £10 per item - pictures are the same as they use on the Glitzy store page so i'm assuming they are purchasing from China - I ordered an item as shown on glitzy from ebay - not great quality but at least it arrived! and much cheaper than glitzy
  • Please don't use this company!!! There is a Facebook page called GLAMOUR HOUSE ARE SCAMMERS. This is the FB name glitzy.com advertise under. They have several other company names they go under. My daughter ordered goods last year. Didn't receive a thing. They answered her first email asking for her order reference number which she provided but again we never heard a thing. I then posted on their FB page. "Glamour house" I told of my daughters problems with them. They immediately deleted my post and I've since found out this is what they do if you complain. We were fortunate that my daughter payed through PayPal as they looked into situation and after a month of them also getting no reply when they contacted glitzy.com they refunded her money. They are now being investigated by "fraud online" (think that's the name) all the info is on Glamour house are scammers FB page. They want anyone affected to contact the fraud organisation and there is also a number for police who are dealing with this as well. Sorry I don't have specific info but if you go on the FB page you'll get everything you need there. I can't understand how they're still getting away with it. Apparently the competitions to win eg: car, house, clothes etc are also fake. People started to notice that they never put the names of winners up. When challenged on this they ignore and then take the post down. The FB page also gives you the name of the con man running this company. I've read hundreds of peoples near identical story's about Glitzy.com
Sorry this is so long but I don't want any more people being duped by this "company" and lastly that post that Glitzy.com put up about "we are certainly not a scam company" yeah they said that in answer to me and loads of others but then,no explanation of where our goods or refunds are.

You would think Facebook have some duty of care to remove pages of known scammers
When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?
