Sky Tv

Hello. Do any of you have Sky TV ? I currently do since I enjoy watching sports so have the sports channels. However the monthly bill can be difficult to afford at times. Is there any good alternatives ?

Depends what sport you like. BT have sports channels and you can get them for free under certain circumstances however if your sports interests include, say, cricket then forget it.

BT Sport has football coming out of its ears. It does a little Tennis (WTA events) Eurosport also does some tennis. But you don't necessarily with either get the best games/events.

BT's football offering is very poor compared to SKY's though. BT is ok if you want to watch the early KO of Saturday and that's it basically!

I too am in the situation where I pay SKY for sports to mainly watch football, but the other (legal) alternatives are simply not very good. All the competition rules has done is made it that we have to pay two companies to watch the football...

    Yeah, one Premiership game a week-about a third of Sky's output…

I so agree. If there was proper competition, both broadcasters would be able to show the same games. That would, of course, drive down prices and not benefit the Premier League.
