Vodafone - TERRIBLE customer service!

My moby was stuck in aeroplane mode so took it to the shop as it is insured. £25 excess charge. Was told it would be back within a week. That was Sept 8th. Since then I've been told they were waiting for stock. (Xperia T). Week later I was told they cannot get hold of it so are waiting stock for nearest model which is the Z2. Few days later was told it was shipped out and would be at the shop end of week before last. No call. Then told it was out of stock (eh?). Then had a weird message saying I needed to call on Monday to choose waht I wanted?? Rang them and after 15 mins of being put on hold I was told that I needed to ring Homecare to chase it up?? !!!!!!??? Lost it at this point and told him it was his job to do that not me. That was Monday and he said it would be with the shop by 48hrs. Still nothing.

Vodafone are sneaky in that there is no e-mail address to complain to. And I have to wait 8 weekls before complaining to the Ombudsman. I have a temp phone but its not the point. What the !!!! are they playing at?

Should I just wait the 8 weeks? And when my contract ends in March who should I change to?

I'm on PAYG with Vodafone and would you believe I am unable to topup my phone, been trying for a week ,get the usual platitudes from them but no action. I've topped up before with no problems so I guess one of their genius tech. has modified the system . Just e mailed the CEO ,perhaps that will stir things. If you can get a good signal on other suppliers then move.
