Same here for me I have had a Hotpoint Tumble dryer for 23 years had the belt replaced few times and the heater thats it lol :rotfl: Build to last ..now I have posted this I bet it dies on me:mad:

so, Hotpoint made a good one 23 years ago. No guarantee that you would get decent quality today. Personally, I avoid anything made in Italy, it tends to be cheap and nasty. I may well be slated for this stance, but it's the accumulated experience of over 30 years in a service industry. Italian kit had good ideas, let down by shoddy materials, zero derating and expensive hard to get parts. Nothing from Zanussi in our house!
