Pivoting work bench

Hi, can anyone recommend a decent workbench, specifically to do internal doors- to this end the pivoting ones look ideal so I can plane the edges easily. Something like this perhaps?

If anyone else has any suggestions/recommendations that would be appreciated

What do you want to do to the internal doors?
You'll need two so make yourself a set of stools.0 -
I need to plane the edges to make them fit within the door frames. I was thinking I might need two possibly. Not sure how best to secure them in order to do it.0

Long edge on the floor, top corner held in place between the jaws of a bench similar to what you have indicated - doesn't need to be fancy adjustable one.

Something like these Stanley Collapsible stands? These kind of thing are what my carpenter used to cut the worktops, would be fine with a door sat on them. You'd just need to protect the surface sufficiently.0

Just found some magic grippers which look absolutely ideal for planing doors. Quite expensive, but ordered a pair so will see how I get on.0

Just be careful with those grippers - if you don't adjust properly they can damage the door face - especially if used on 'cardboard' doors.
Let us know how you get on tho!

Very easy to make.
4x2 on its edge, cut a slot wider than the door and use a wedge.
If you can't mange this then get someone to do your doors for you.0 -

thanks for the patronising reply. I didn't really want to waste my time constructing something out of bits of wood when i can buy something designed to do the job. I know how to hang doors0 -
