I too received a ludicrous claim letter back in july, I responded refusing liability and heard nothing til today when they sent me a final warning.

can anyone update me on their experiences with this malicious scheme?
did you settle?
did you go to court?
did they back down?
what did you do?

I also received a letter yesterday although it was a very poor excuse for a letter.

Well I'm glad I read this thread, I was considering them, and I quite often pay off my contracts at the 18 month stage so I can get a new shiny phone.

MSE saves my bacon, 18 months into the future.
