Valued Opinions – Online Surveys Scam

Hi all
I am in real desperate for some help and advice please...
I joined a UK research website/organisation called Valued Opinions some months ago. My account with them was working fine until Monday 6 October 2014. All the sudden I can no longer be able to log in to my account on the Valued Opinions website. When I requested for a password reminder, the website says my details are not in its database. At first, I thought it was only a technical issue, but it turns out there are some (but not all) other members who have not been able to log in to their accounts too. The first thing came up to my mind was it's gonna be a scam!
I have completed many online surveys on the Valued Opinions website, in return I earned some rewards (shopping vouchers) which I have saved and planned to spend it on some gifts this Christmas. I have earned £30 up to the minute when my account was still accessible on Monday. It took me weeks to earn this amount of rewards. And now I have a feeling the owner of this website simply closed/removed/suspended my account so they don't need to pay me any money, and also they can keep my £30 rewards from their clients.
I have been thinking of reporting this website, but who can I report it to?
Any advice or suggestions will be great, many thanks in advance!

Have you tried e-mailing isabel@valuedopinions.co.uk ?
I think this is one of the best survey sites, but my account has gone dormant a couple of times (I can still log in, but don't get survey invitations). An e-mail has always produced a quick resolution.0 -
Looks like they've banned you for too many validation errors in their surveys (going too fast or missing one of their many "select 4 in this row for validation purposes" type questions.
To be honest, they've done this to me a few times now. It's unfair as sometimes you legitimately miss things, plus the whole speed issue us ridiculous as I'm a fast reader.
Get in touch with them, good luck as they're not the most accommodating.
In future, ALWAYS withdraw as soon as you can.0 -
This happened to me a year or so back {unable to log in, password invalid and cannot find your record} I emailed them and had a reply that they had problems with the website, my account was reloaded with all my saved rewards intact so it may be worthwhile asking them first before going down any other road.0

Been with them a couple of years (pays for Christmas) & never had a problem (yet). I do get my rewards cashed out asap (just in case) & into the £15 Amazon voucher as you lose less money than the £10 vouchers.0

Thanking you all for the comments and advice, I will now write to Isabel to see if she can look into the matter for me. Fingers crossed!
Many thanks again!0 -
If not, sign up again with a new email address and new IP (pretty much what to do if you get PPR'd on here, lol). Anyway...
Don't treat them with any respect, they don't value you after all.0 -

I really can't agree. Some survey sites don't credit you, or tell you you don't meet the quota 10 minutes into a survey, or send you lots of surveys that you don't qualify for making you waste time answering the same initial questions over and over again.
In my experience, Valued Opinions pay reasonably well and pay promptly and are one of the best sites out there. I would also recommend Global Test Market and e-Rewards (which you have to be invited to join).
I would avoid ASK GFK. IPSOS, Just the answer, and yougov.0 -

I am pleased to know that you have no problems with Valued Opinions and it has given you good service overall.
Unfortunately, I am still having problems with my Valued Opinions (VO) account. I wrote to Isabel twice now, but she has not replied to me at all. I even tried to contact Research Now to see if they could help. But for somehow, my email to Research Now was forwarded to e-Rewards and a guy called Tom emailed back to me. On the email, Tom says he couldn't locate my account in his system using the email address that I provided, he asks me to give him the email address that I used when I registered with VO.
I must say it doesn't sound good to me. The email I provided to Research Now is the exact email that I used to register with VO. If Research Now/e-Rewards cannot locate my account in their system, it is very likely that my account has been removed from the system completely. This problem really gives me a headache!0 -
Their telephone number is 020 7084 3482 so may be better to give them a call to see what is happening
i have called them earlier this week and they are investigating the same issue that the op is having0 -
