New PC

NEW DELL QUAD CORE 10.64GHZ DESKTOP PC 160GB 4GB WINDOWS 7 PRO COMPUTER, DVDRW

I was looking for a new pc as my XP is no longer supported and this thing doesn't perform no matter what I do. I don't do any gaming and the one above was £220 which is fine but it's Windows 7. I'm concerned how long Windows will continue to support this system. The seller has 100% feedback and has sold a lot so I'm happy there. Can anyone advise please?
Thanks

Perhaps if you had bothered to follow up on threads that you start, you may have made some progress.

I can remember, long before your time, when this was a good site. No sarcasm. People came on to help or be helped.

Spec posted above. Thanks to those genuinely trying to help. I'm told it's too expensive, but not where to buy cheaper. This was the best price I could find for a new one. There are lots of reconditioned ones for half that price. My question really was whether it was worth buying Windows 7 or whether I'm soon going to have the same problem I now have with XP, i.e. no back up. I'm not a technophobe so a lot of this stuff goes right over my head. I don't use it for gaming but do use the internet a lot.
    Thanks again

Thanks Gunjack. That's what I wanted to know and, at my age, that's a long time.
    Cheers
