problem with my laptop

last night it kept turning itself off and when i tried to turn it bk on it only came back on 30% of the time. I got a blue screen once to say there was prob with either hard drive or motherboard. This morning it wont turn on at all, the power light comes on but nothing happens! Its only 2 days old.

Last night hubby spilt tea on the screen of the laptop and i was v quick clearing it up and didnt see it go in2 the computer anywhere n i did check thoroughly.

Does any1 know what could be wrong with it?

Well if there was and milk and/or sugar then you've got a gunge problem as well on any circuits that would need to be cleaned out.

I just mean physical gunge, but I don't know if you'd want to risk taking your laptop apart to clean it. Do you have Dell's accidental cover?

Not wanting to be too judgemental, if I had a brand new laptop I certainly wouldn't be drinking anything near it. Combination of common sense and knowing Sod's/Murphy's Law.
