Let the fun begin...playing plusnet against EE !

Hi all,

I am with Plusnet and have paid my line rental costs upfront in a one-off payment to save money. The line rental payment expires during Q1 2015.

I saw the EE b/band and phone deal on this weeks newsletter http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/phones/cheap-broadband?utm_source=MSE_Newsletter&utm_medium=bignote-one&utm_term=07-Oct-14-lt&utm_campaign=phones&utm_content=6#switching.

I have contacted Plusnet to see what they can do to keep my custom and have currently been offered unlimited b/band, free evening and w/end calls for £3.49 per month.

I have also contacted EE to see whether they will include payment of the remainder of my Plusnet 12 month rental costs in order to get my custom. I am not hopeful but it is worth a go lol !

I'll let everyone know as soon as I have got an answer.

My PlusNet broadband one year deal is up in January 2015, so was looking at the £120 Amazon voucher deal, but the Quidco £130 Cashback is inherently better, since you get CASH, and so not restricted to Amazon.

For non-business customers, the PlusNet Topcashback is only £10.10 for ADSL and £101 for fibre. Quidco only offer £10.

The large Quidco payout ended about two weeks ago (?) and dropped to £35, then down to £10 a couple of days ago.

Crossed lines: I thought you were refering to PlusNet, who have drastically reduced their offers recently.

    Easily done.

Getting fed up with all these stupid vouchers: Sainsburys, Love2Shop, and now Amazon. Looking forward to see how EE abuses the OP. Otherwise I will proceed in January 2015. It's actually the backup broadband, so the cheaper the better.
Just hope escape from EE next year is possible.

Don't worry. I know how to play this game. I have changed my b/band and phone supplier many times over the years. I am still waiting for a response back from EE so won't make any decision until they do.

Now back to watching sexy Rachel Riley corr !!!
