Can I just say though, the Metacam seems to be working miracles for Lucy. I can't believe the difference in her after just a week on it.

She's getting up with ease again after lying down and hasn't refused a single walk all week. It's as if she's shed four years in a week. She jumped up onto the sofa just now and it was all I could do not to burst into tears, I was so happy - she hasn't been able to do that for a long time.

Her tail hasn't stopped wagging and even her face seems younger, as if the pain has gone and she's not struggling any more.

I know I was grumbling about vet prices but the Metacam really is worth it's weight in gold to me if it gives my Lucy so much more quality of life in her twilight years.
