I spread the cost. However im not sure if the term of time you pay is from start of the holiday year or after the election window closes....we elected for bought holiday and other benefits each september and then would start paying for them0
-
So have you actually paid for any of it yet? As you only finished in September?0
-
ive just checked back over my wage slips, and am fairly confident it was from the election window onwards. so that would be sept - sept. i must have bought holiday in 2012 as i was paying £9 and some pence in my august 2013 wage slip0
-
i was planning to buy holiday for next year but i was suspended at the end of august so never got the opportunity to buy any. the 2 days i bought were from last years election so for 20140

When do you start paying? In Jan? Or Oct?0

i believe its october. Im sorry i cant be more specific as for the last few years I have bought some holiday and am unsure exactly when the payments start.0

You will need to ask them for their calculation I am affraid. This is completely ok.
My basic calculation is
Basic earned hols to date (25 days)
Full year 25x7 hrs = 175 hrs
175/365days in year x 268 days up to 25th Sept =128,5hrs
+6x7 bank hols that were =42 hrs
Total 170,5 hrs
This is basic calc. I would normally work on weeks, but you seem to work on hours so I went with 365 days..
It seems complicated, you really do need to ask for their calc and see if you are happy with it.0 -
Ok, that last calc plus some extra you paid foe the 2 days... that is nearly the full 2 days, so extra 14ish hours.0
-
sorry if i am being a bit thick, but based on that calculation do they owe me for holiday or the other way around?
thank you for taking the time to help me, i really appreciate it0
