Cheap weekend flights

Hi,

Is there any site that will give you cheap flights for the weekend only starting after say 18:00 on Friday and coming back after 15:00 on Sunday. Any weekend in the year?

The MSE flight checker says the servers will "go bananas" when I tried to do weekends search to anywhere.

Cheers,

Chris

Skyscanner is fairly flexible in searching all routes in a given period but I'm not aware if you can limit it to weekends.

The problem that you will have is that Friday evening to Sunday afternoon is the most expensive option for weekend flights. You'd get a better deal if you could take a long weekend and fly out on a Thrsday or back on a Monday morning. Get an 8am flight back from Spain and you can be back at work by lunchtime.

I've tried that. The problem is it won't just list by weekends only. So it will find cheapest flights in the month, but not just the weekends in that month. When you click on the friday typically the sunday flight price changes. Then you go to a new screen where you filter by time. When you filter by time then the flight prices completely change...

Thanks. I'd have to be back in the morning. But it will be the same problem. I'd be looking for flights Friday evening till Monday morning anytime in the year going anywhere. From that list I could choose the cheapest flights. I'm guessing my ask is a bit too bespoke for the current offerings out there. No doubt in a couple of years time this will be possible

You may be expecting a bit too much. Skyscanner's everywhere and country destination features are very good at helping you find which airlines go where on a certain day in the evening. You just have to play around with it.

When you have a preferred destination on a certain airline, you go to the airline's website and scroll through the prices.

Maybe. My case is slightly different to the norm maybe. It has to be after 18.00 on Friday and must back onow Sunday. Flights on any other days I'm not concerned about even if they are dirt cheap. Ultimately I'd like to just see a table of all the flights that match my criteria in in price ascending order.

In case you can't find it: http://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/offers/holidays/helloweekend?refevent=lates_hw

BA holidays usually only make sense if you are close to Heathrow or Gatwick but I've had some excellent deals with them in the past.
