    Bank:- RBS
    Claimed:- £11,500.00
    Received :-£10,890.00

:T If you have bank charges I hope this will encourage you to reclaim them I was horrified to discover that my 2 accounts with the rbs had charges working out to the total of £11,500.00 over the six years!!. We nearly lost our house in that time it was costing us more money in charges a months than my total monthly outgoings so all my D/D were being unpaid and I was being charged for the pleasure and thing just got out of hand.

It only cost me the price of 2 1st Class stamps to get my money back, RBS were quick and polite at dealing with my request the whole process took about 10 weeks start to finish. I got my offer letter on Tuesday i was getting £10,089.00 ( TEN THOUSAND & EIGHTY NINE POUNDS ) That was the £11,500.00 less the monthly account charge for my Royalties account and every penny of my refund was in the bank first thing on Thursday morning.

What will I do with the money well I will pay some small debts i have totalling about £1000.00 take kids on holiday for the first time ever and pop the rest in the bank for a rainy day, for the 1st time in my life it feels like things are going right for once.

martin lewis you are a god :A .

Thanks to everyone for there support during the claiming process.

P.s the whole problem happened because we had a very sick child who was in hospital for over 15 months and i was unable to work and i informed the bank but they were not interested in helping at the time.
just letting you know that i am not some manic spender with loads of debt.
Hi,congratulations on getting your money back, you must have been worried sick, when not only was your child sick, but the bank wouldn't listen to your plight(i hope your son or daughter is ok now). You enjoy your holiday, you fully deserve it,and enjoy the money too!Welldone :T :T
