Help with budgeting

afternoon all, I have woke up today and give myself a kick up the bum.. I waste far to money...I have sat down and worked out my incomings and out going. Incoming per month is £2305 out goings are £1456.. £132 and £88 of that is hire purchase. Items... I no I was silly a year ago and got sofa washer and fridge freezer from bright house. I am going to sent the items back now I have a job and can pay for second hand items instead.
I never have money left as I go out for tea buy kids things they don't need straight away...
I have been looking into setting an account up for just my bills then I no everything is paid and what I have left over to try and save.
Do you all think this will be a good idea or is there anythink I can do?
Thanks in advance. I need to get sorted not just for me but my kids. X
savings for 2012.. New year new me.. Going to save save save... and not spend spend spend. :rotfl:

    Hi,

I don't know anything about Brighthouse, but have a look on your local freecycle website before buying anything, you can also put "wanted" ads on it.

Fill out the calculator McKneff has left for you, paste it to here and go from from there.

    Good luck

When the mobile phone is up for renewal look at the sim only plans you can get to use with your current phone.

Yes set up a second account just for bills.

Ignore what they 'Say' about returning items, look in your contract to see what is written down.

Sounds Mad to me that they would allow this, if you returned them they would then have to do something with these second hand items.....

They'll probably take the items back upon settlement of the outstanding HP sum, or some such terrible deal.....
