E2save vs buying direct from O2

Hi all,
I am planning to move from EE to O2 , as their reception is much better in the flat I live in. I have decided on phone and contract needed, but then noticed it's £5 per month cheaper on E2save, plus comes with a free gift.
I am just wondering what difference it will make once I start the contract. Will I need to deal with E2save if I have issues in the future, or will it stop me accessing any additional benefits etc that O2 offer?
I have tried to research this online, but can't find any decent info so would appreciate any tips!

You will still get the O2 benefits as you will be an O2 customerIt's not just about the money0 -
I've only ever ordered direct from any network when the deal was free - and that's only happened once except on free PAYG deals (where I also made a sizeable profit). Then again, I generally only do cashback deals - and they are always better through dealers.
Apart from claiming the cashback from the dealers (and I claim a LOT!) all my subsequent dealings are direct with the network. It doesn't matter where you took the contract out.0
