However, I've emailed them at the address Tea Pea Dee kindly supplied, so I'll see what happens.

for future reference "MoneySavingExpert.com is part of the MoneySupermarket Group, but is entirely editorially independent. Its stance of putting consumers first is protected and enshrined in the legally-binding MSE Editorial Code."

    thats what i meant
  • I spoke to their Indian call centre yesterday. They said that the voucher hadn’t been sent because my credit card account hadn’t been opened until 2 September.

I pointed out that the T&Cs stated ’you must be accepted for an M&S Credit Card between 1st August and 31st August 2014’, and that I’d had an email on 27 August confirming that my card application had been successful.

After being put on hold while they spoke to the ‘admin team’, they told me that they had requested a voucher to be sent out by post.

I couldn’t get any timescale for when I might receive the voucher.

All in all, a pretty poor experience from 'customer service focussed' M&S (yes, I know it's HSBC really)... And I have a funny feeling that further 'intervention' may still be required.
