I am SO angry! EPISCOPAL RELIEF A????

I am so good with money now after going BR last year so this has really riled me.
I received a letter this morning from my bank (Co-op) saying there were insufficient funds in my account for a DD (which was to the Inland Revenue), so they had charged me £19.50 and they will also charge me at a later date as my account has now gone overdrawn.
I KNEW for a fact this couldn't be possible as every Monday, I leave money in the account to cover that weeks DD's and then withdraw what is left.
I've just checked my banking online and a payment has come out from EPISCOPAL RELIEF A for £10.09.
I rang the bank and spoke to a nice chap but he couldn't give me anymore information other than what I could see on my screen so he has given me the number to ring the fraud department on Monday morning.
I've googled EPISCOPAL RELIEF A and apparantly it's a church funding

Anyone know or have heard of this before please?

If a DD has been taken out incorrectly then you will get it refunded, plus a refund of any charges, under the banks' DD guarantee scheme.0

Well googling EPISCOPAL RELIEF gives rise to a charity site based in New York. Have you been stopped by a member of the clipboard army and asked to donate in any way?The man without a signature.0

what's 20 dollars US in pounds UK ? £10.09 ?0 -
News travels fast, word of your dilemma has reached the US. I am on staff at Episcopal Relief and Development. Our website did have a rash of fraudulent UK credit card charges last week, which we have tried to refund quickly. If you have not received your refund, you can contact me via our website, which you seem to have found, or you can file a claim through your credit card company, whichever makes you more comfortable. I apologize for the inconvenience; unfortunately, there are a lot of scammers out there, and they love the internet.

Be wary, its nothing to do with the company in question its an issue between you and your bank. Advise them that you havent made the transaction, they should send you a form, a type of disclaimer and they WILL refund your money, Im adamant. Please do not contact the company in question, especially if they are based outside the UK.0 -
FYI - What EstherBC states sounds like par for the course. It sounds as though your debit card details have been compromised somehow, and the thieves have made a donation to Episcopal Relief to test the card and see if it works before making larger purchases for their own benefit. The US Red Cross Relief site is also popular with scammers trying to pull the same stunt.0
