Are Vodafone really this incapable?

I have two phones on one contract with Vodafone, unfortunately I am in contract until Jan 2016 otherwise I'd leave like a shot.

Long story cut short. Direct debit was changed back in May told me it wouldn't make any difference, except that since then the DD disappeared and Vodafone seem incapable of setting it back up. S now I get an automated message several weeks after my payment date telling me I'm getting cut off unless I pay, the first month this happened I physically couldn't make a payment, even CS couldn't take a payment due to website issues, and that went on for days. Eventually the payment was accepted by Vodafone and I was told DD would be re set up.

Next month, warning voicemail again, no direct debit set up so I had to phone and pay. Again I was told bank bounced payment, but they didn't, bank say that Vodafone have made no attempt to set up the DD. paid manually on 2nd attempt (problems with website again apparently). I then got a text to say DD was now set up.

Just had warning voicemail again, no DD has been set up, bank say Vodafone haven't tried. So again I've had to phone up and pay.

Vodafone are driving me crazy, the CS lady told me to go online and reset my DD but the page head 'direct debit' has no facility to do that. It looks like I am stuck with having to phone each month to pay, this is ridiculous

    Thank you Silk

I have sent my details via the web contact now, but I think the website is having problems (again) as the page only loads partly and is all over the place. I'll wait to see if I get a response.

Ask them to ensure your external credit files haven't been trashed because of their mistakes.
