Which 3 boxes do I tick on POPLA? Also should I submit a photo after my appeal of the valid parking ticket? In addition to this how do I get bold and italics on POPLA?

    all 3 except stolen (obviously)

yes, attach it as evidence in the online appeal and include it as point 6 to help to prove no loss, even if its ignored , as its better evidence if it ever came to court (which it wont if popla uphold your appeal) but helps get the assessor on "your side"

attach the appeal as a word doc or pdf and use bold and italics etc within that appeal

use the box online to add a quick precis of the opening paragraph and then put SEE ATTACHED APPEAL

    Right guys,

I'm about to "submit an appeal online", one last check over the PDF I created would be great. I will also include photographs on the "submit evidence online". How do I attach the PDF to here and also on POPLA?

I have put online in the box:-

As the registered keeper, I received an invoice from Vehicle Control Services Ltd (VCS) requiring payment of a charge for the alleged contravention of parking without displaying a valid ticket/permit.

I would like to appeal this notice on the following grounds:

    1. Charge not a genuine pre-estimate of loss
    2. No authority or standing to pursue these charges in their own name as creditor in the Courts
    3. No visual evidence of the alleged contravention provided
    4. Unreasonable/Unfair Terms
    5. Unclear and Non-compliant Signage forming no contract with driver
    6. Evidence

    SEE ATTACHED APPEAL.

That's well set out Rik - you got there:-))) Well done. It's just a skill to master, like any other.

    The reason Redx wrote this:
'attach the appeal as a word doc or pdf and use bold and italics etc within that appeal'
is because it just turns into one big glob of unformatted verbiage otherwise.

In your attached Doc, embolden your numbered headings and underline them, like this:
    1. Charge not a genuine pre-estimate of loss

    2. No authority or standing to pursue these charges in their own name as creditor in the Courts

    3. No visual evidence of the alleged contravention provided

    4. Unreasonable/Unfair Terms

    5. Unclear and Non-compliant Signage forming no contract with driver

    6. Evidence

you cannot attach it here , so would have to use dropbox or something similar

plus dont link it if it has personal details

as for the popla appeal, fill the online box in, then you get the facility to attach documents and pictures for your appeal

Oh please...did you really just ask that before even looking at them? I deliberately didn't say which not to tick and thought 'oh that's fine, they'll see when they look'.

Yes. This is all getting a bit silly. The POPLA website TELLS you how to appeal then attach evidence:

    http://www.popla.org.uk/makinganappeal.htm

I do hope you don't work in an office nor ever have to read documents or websites as part of your job...wow this has been such hard work. Pretty much every new poster here has NEVER had one of these fake tickets before but they manage OK, unless English isn't their first language, in which case any questions are understandable. Can't believe a thread has got nearly to 40 posts pointlessly asking what's already in front of you. I'm out - but I am sure others will have more patience than me and stick around to field all your next 20 posts.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry - had to be done. How could it have any effect? This is a private (speculative) invoice, and NOT a FINE or PENALTY. Do you seriously believe you need to declare it on any insurance application?
