1GB of data, 500 min, 30 day SIMO contract, £9: Vectone

    Unlimited data (e.g. 3GB), 500 min, 30 day contract, £10: Vectone

3GB data, 600 min, 30 day contract, £12 (but two months reduced at £4.25, for unlimited calls): People's Operator. £15 cashback through Quidco.

    http://www.quidco.com/the-people-s-operator/

    Month 1: take £14.99 package, pay £4.25
    Month 2: keep £14.99 package, pay £4.25
Month 3: switch to £12 package, pay £12
Cost over 3 months with cashback: £5.50!

All are using the EE network, and have large text message allowances. All have 30 day contracts only, so little risk if performance is poor.

Whichever network you go for make sure it works where you want it to - it's a good idea to get a free paygo sim and try it out first before jumping in with a contract and finding out that you can't get service
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

I agree, unlimited should not mean 3GB. Vectone says it's "unlimited" but it's capped to 3GB, so that's why I clarified it...
I am pretty sure unlimited means "without limit", so someone could easily push back.

Since the mobile networks re-invented the meaning of unlimited ;)
