It's safe to say that there are a lot more people comping these days, but I'd also assume companies take their online presence a lot more seriously than they would have back then which will have also resulted in more competitions being posted especially on FB / TW / Pintrest etc.
I would imagine it'll be the same in the run up to Christmas, more people coming for presents and more competitions running.
You just need to look at the "I won" forum, there's been a few "First Win" posts recently.
Good luck with it, you'll pick something up, make sure your phone number and address are correct (If your using an auto-fill tool), obviously0 -

Start of this year, I thought that I'll try to enter more comps per day rather than ad hoc ones, so I set up a proper named email address....I've won nothing using this one, so I doubt it matters either....or maybe they just don't like my real name?
(p.s. is it too early to use a Christmas smiley? :xmastree:
Yes, it's WAY too early....Thanks to all of you for posting the competitions! Really appreciate it. :lovethoug0 -

I'm fairly new to this and while I've been lucky it isn't winning prizes that keeps me going.
It gives me something to do while I'm watching TV. I can daydream about how good the prize is while I'm entering but most importantly of all it's the anticipation. I love hearing the post drop through the door because it might not just be bills
I would still be doing them if I hadn't won anything and to be perfectly honest I never expected to win anything. My OH laughed at me for entering saying I'll never win anything but he isn't laughing now. He asks me to enter for stuff that he would like.
Keep going and wishing you the best of luck
I like the Christmas smiley moneymadmarkWishing everyone the best of luck.

That's a brilliant and positive attitude. I'm sure you will be very successful.
Likewise hubby. friends and family were dubious about me winning anything and now they can't wait to hear about my latest wins0
