At one point between Nov 2013 - March 2014 I won a TV, a playstation, an iPad, £500, and a hotel stay. Then I won pretty much nothing for about a year despite still constantly doing comps. Then in the last 2 months i've won a £100 voucher and a £1000 voucher. It's just swings and roundabouts.2014: Desolation of Smaug DVD, Magix photo programme, RUSH DVD, £100 Lands End voucher, Hugo Boss La Vie perfume, £1000 Tesco vouchers, Winnie the Pooh Bundle, 7 night holiday to Spain0

Ha, i'm clearly thick. I meant Nov 2012 - March 2013.2014: Desolation of Smaug DVD, Magix photo programme, RUSH DVD, £100 Lands End voucher, Hugo Boss La Vie perfume, £1000 Tesco vouchers, Winnie the Pooh Bundle, 7 night holiday to Spain0 -

and the rest - people see it as a way of winning something to sell and expect it to start rolling in from the very 1st comp0 -
I came into comping not expecting to win anything and so far haven,t. I look at it as a hobby and really enjoy reading everyones success stories.
I just do it for the buzz that oneday my boat may come in.0 -
I have been comping for many years and in some years I have won prizes worth up to £20,000. Other years I have won absolutely nada not a thing. Its all about the luck of the draw. I never expect anything and everything is a bonus. I take breaks when I am disillusioned with it, and I only enter for things I want. So keep trying and keep your expectations realistic one day it will be your lucky day. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A0

When I first started entering comps, I used an email address that contained the dog's name. Over the past few years I've won a couple of dvd's using it. Start of this year, I thought that I'll try to enter more comps per day rather than ad hoc ones, so I set up a proper named email address....I've won nothing using this one, so I doubt it matters either....or maybe they just don't like my real name?
(p.s. is it too early to use a Christmas smiley? :xmastree:I wish I had thought of a better user name as this makes me sounds greedyIt was meant more tongue-in-cheek.

As long As i get one win a month I carry on, had a spell of winning loads then it dwindled and I won 3 things last month. One day you will look in your inbox and get a lovely surprise and it will all be worth it. I mostly win on photos and slogans if its a random draw I dont have much luck!0
