What do you want from a phone? This is a vitally important question as it's the key to the best phone.0

a Vertu is probably the best, but at a price0

I had an older version of the Nokia Commuicator the 9210 and have to say I loved it. Much bigger and stuff but it was excellent especially when I had it as it was way ahead of the rest of the field in terms of what it could do and the amount of software that could be used on it.
The major drawback was that when it went wrong after about 14 months there was only one centre in the UK who could deal with it.
I got their number and phoned them but was spoken down to as though I wasnt worthy of their attention - god knows who they thought they were - I only wanted my phone fixed.
They said to send it in in a jiffy bag with a cheque for £150 and they would 'look at it.'
Anyway that was the end of my 9210 and I I'd think carefully before buying another.
It was an excellent phone and came with a little camera. The pics could be sent from the camera to the phone via the IR link - I loved it.
It is probably a bit OTT unless you are going to make use of the business functionality due to the size/price but I'm sure the 9300 is a great phone none the less.0 -
I find Nokias the easiest and nicest to use. I have a Nokia 6100 which is light and very nice to use. I don't think a camera phone is neccessary anyway.0

i've got the moto a1000, it's awesome. I'm not a games player, but the games really are second to none (you can even play old favourites like day of the tentacle and doom!), and you can enjoy full films and tv shows in good divx quality if you buy a memory card. you can also view excel, word, powerpoint, pdf etc... files on the move, the screen is massive and ideal for web surfing (which you can do free with an O2 card if you get the phone unlocked)
and needs charging less often than the NEC e616 which it replaced. Only have to charge once every 2 or 3 days with moderate use. https://www.a1k.co.uk if you end up getting one, it's a good community site.0 -
