truphone and how many rings
I have been very happy with the Truphone service especially with their low bills but over the last month or so I keep missing calls. This is because on my mobile I might get two rings before it goes through to voicemail or maybe three rings and sometimes even four rings.
Have spoken to Truphone loads of times and their customer service is nice to deal with and easy to get through to (no twenty minute waits) but the problem continues.
Even the Truphone lady I spoke to said she gets eight rings before voicemail. I keep missing calls. Truphone said they switched off voicemail but I still only get three rings maybe before the missed call sign appears on my phone -
Can anyone suggest a provider with low international call costs where you can turn off voicemail properly and have lots of rings
on your phone.
Thanks

The standard code is *61*[dest]*11*[sec]#
Either
*61*+447408888505*11*30#
or
*61*505*11*30#
then press call might work with [dest] being the voicemail number and [sec] being time until divert. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Which network are you on - when you find out then check their website or google to find the appropriate code to extend the ringtime.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0
