I swear one of my gumtree accounts is on a blocked list, I can post and receive messages but when I reply it doesn't get through to them. It all started when I posted some bulk shoes that I guess they didn't like as they got de listed. I've never to this day had a 2nd response from that account since then I even started asking people to send contact details on my ads as I knew I couldn't reply otherwise, but my other e-mail works just fine and I use that one now.
That said, as a seller on eBay I get this a lot. Loads of messages and I never hear from them again, my general rule is if you get a 2nd reply then theirs a 90% chance of the sale actually happening, the 1st message probably only 5% actually turn into sales.People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
