evening all ..... when my lad was a teenager i used to see him have a weekly tidy up before any girlies arrived
am i the only lucky one to have a son who hates clutter !! since he could, he irons all his own clothes.... i must admit when i hear some of the horror stories re kids i thank my mum and dad for being his guiding force re standards and manners . they minded him when i worked in his younger days . good memories
i think most teens reach a point when they dont like to be messy and "want to impress" when a female is on the scene...:rotfl::rotfl:
When I went to college I concluded boys were tidier than girls. But not necessarily cleaner.
This holds true through life. Ever guy I have lived with has been in some way tidier than me ( if not in an organised way) but I've been cleaner and better at cleaning.
Fir will stuff things in disorganised over full drawers to get it out of the way rather than spend time thinking....well, that can be the drawer where x will live and old envelopes don't need to live in a drawer;). Let alone wipe out. Vacuum or heaven forbid line the drawer. :rotfl:
He's getting so much better I cannot tell you. Sadly I'm getting messier.0 -
well if my son had followed me .... he has said/told me off re MY clutter
i am sooooo different in this house.. maybe ive finally broken the habit  BUT does it count that i have a huge ornate bed frame in pieces in the back of my car at the mo....
it has posts on the corners that look like theve been nicked from a stately home
with ornate iron work between em.. head stands 5 ft and foot board is 3ft... JUST fitted in my car, with a bit of jiggering.... i cant resist a bargain/gift

think you hit it on the head LIR....lol..
Well we have caved in and bought one of those outback cameras...
so we will put it on one of the fence poles low down tonight and see if anything triggers it off lol..
I think its going to be addictive, as we have been watching clips from outback cameras on Youtube....
Wonder if we will catch on camera the 'puma' that hubby seen about 15 plus years ago.... seriously... there was a power cut, so all the street lights were out on the by-pass road... when a large 'cat' strolled across the road.. hubby stopped, and it was the height of the lights on the car... it is very rarely spoken about, as he is afraid people might think he had lost the plot lol....
we will prob just catch a load of cats, rats etc on filmWork to live= not live to work0 -

Well, my diet has suffered as a result of Mr BD's Thespian adventures. Been forced to 'cook' my own tea every evening. Now on my fifth baked potato of the week.
Have varied the toppings between hummus and egg though.
Missing Mr BD for 'Strictly', one of the few TV programmes we watch together. We both enjoy becoming dance critics for the evening, even though our knowledge of dancing is :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Charleston is loads of fun. Love the American Smooth too.:D:D:D
Bit disappointed with last weeks TWD, although the lollipop scene was very creepy. What did you think? Want to get back to Rick and Daryl and Carol, but I think this week is the group with Abraham.
