The Vermont suits older property, but with this modern box I want something non-traditional.

Aga do one called the Westbury, and there are loads of others which look similar:

    http://www.rangemoors.co.uk/products/stoves/multi-fuel/aga-westbury-detail

    That's the problem....:o

Edit: So far, I'm not that impressed with the people I've spoken to. Going above 5kw nominal output means providing ventilation, so I thought

"Put a 100mm tube into the redundant Aga flue, take it out via a hole into the loft space to collect air from there, and then build t'other end into the new fireplace, or even take it direct to the back of the fire, if it has an inlet. No draughts."

Do you think I can explain that to the sales people?:rotfl:

    Afternoon all.

Quiet on here, everyone must be making the most of the nice weather.

Aching after a very busy day today in work loading an order to go out.. Just about to go up the ranch ...

Not much to report on the smallholding front except from nothing that a lottery win wouldn't put right lol...

There are stunning 'glass box' ones, have you looked at them? We considered them here tbh, I think they are timeless.

For me the main point is the loading issue, get one that loads easily so that you are finding it easy in the winter after some digging in some years time. Or, now if you are me ;) doing nowt. :D

This combination is pleasing, the iris has plenty more buds to come.
