Hello! I’d love to join
I have some savings, but it’s all general “saved money” and not specifically earmarked for emergencies. I don’t want to get into the habit of dipping into my savings, so I think it might be best to start fresh and put this future £1k in a separate account. So I’ll start with £0/£1,000 for now.
patman, would it be cheeky to request number 326? I know it’s not the next number available, but it’s a sentimental date for me and I’d love that number. Thank youMy Debt Free Diary: ADHD and Frogs: How to Balance the Budget?Challenges: Virtual VSP (#23) 1,000 EF (#pending)0 -
#306 ditty1234 very excited that I now have over £600 in my EF as got some money back from ds trip that didn't happen. Not 100% sure it will last as have a couple of extra payments this month, but just being over £500 feels like such a blessing.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Hello! Is it possible I can please join this thread? I am determined to save an Emergency Fund and then ultimately follow on with getting rid of the debt once I have the emergency fund in place. So far, I have £369 saved, things are obviously tight at the minute but I've managed to take on an extra job so hoping I can still save as much as I can. Plus, I had my last loan payment come out of the bank today so that's another £100 a month I am planning to save! Thank you all.1
