    Hi

I haven't been in for ages, but still trying to get my fund up to £1000, I had managed to get it up to about £400 but needed to use some recently to help my son buy some furniture for his flat, if I hadn't been saving towards my £1000 I wouldn't have been able to help him, so I'm glad it was there, now to start building it up again.

    Catch you all soon :)

No 112 £326.00 . Not been on for a long time due to RL. Back on board now as finishing one of my jobs , just going to concentrate on my other job and family life. So need to ensure the emergency fund is always high. At the moment it's lower than I would like so going to throw everything into it that's spare.x

Managed to transfer an extra £5 to the fund. I was going to get my daughter chips, cake and a drink after her gymnastics on Saturday but husband picked us up early. I transferred the money I would have spent :)

Since moving out and into my own home, I've started all my savings accounts again.

This month I've deposited £100.00 and hoping to deposit more once this month is up.

£100 / £1000 is how my total stands.

No, there's no glass ceiling here. If you wanted to (and had another Bank Account), you could join DreamerHelen's 3-6 month salary challenge and save into that as a secondary fund.

Anyway, I am now back to the position where my main acount is up to my minimum amount, s £11.06 went across to my EF today.

Thank you, I have already joined Helen's troops and have a 3-6 month fund. It's a bit up and downy as that's the one I use as a 'go to' find for holiday spends etc but it's slowly growing
