Another :hello: from me, sugar.
It's just as Dobbibill said, there is no time limit with this challenge. In fact some members would maybe have hit their £1000 by now but have had to keep raiding their 'pot' to pay for the very emergencies that it's meant to cover. I know I have ( dratted car:mad:).

Hi There, I haven't Posted in AGES....I have been struggling to put anything away for Emergencies in recent months...
BUT I'm pleased to say that I have now put away £10 for Emergencies...I am trying to put £5 each Week (I get paid Weekly) into my Savings Account....I know it's not much each Week but I'm hoping it will soon build up and it is there if I need it....
Eventually I am hoping to have 3 months worth of Salary in my Emergency Fund...but I'll start off with the £1000 to begin with!!
I always read this Thread and thank you all for your wonderful inspiring stories....0 -

Welcome to our 2 newest members. Your numbers are 122 & 123 respectively.
Am now fully-free of my last employer as this week, I received all the outstanding pay and holiday pay so my main account got a nice little boost.
My new job is monthly-paid, as the cut-off for hours is the 24th of the month, I will get 1 week's pay next week, then nothing for 4 weeks.
Good job I started this challenge or I would have no money left by the end of the month.Never Knowingly Understood.

True carbootcrazy I have saved £1200 as my baby emergency fund and have often used some of it as an advance on my wage check.:)
But I repay the full amount as soon as I am paid, which is weekly.
Like DreamerHelen I mean to save up three months of wagers Patman99 suggested that I should start a 3 month Emergence Fund Thread. What do you all say?:)Debt free 24/03/2015./ On Dave Ramsey's Baby Step 3./Full Emergency Fund 2500/6000./ Got mortgage on the 28/08/15./ 2015 MFW #117 1242.89/20000 -

Sounds like a very good idea, Stereochild:T
I'm not sure I'd be a very successful member of that one though, I'm having enough problems making my £1000:(. Would love to read of people's success though and I'd definitely be cheering you all on:j0 -
Hi everyone,

Welcome *snow*white*. You are our 124th member.
Just need 1 more to make it to 125.
Not a lot from me of late, other than to say I have been emptying my main account as my water bill, house insurance and TV license all came due before the end of July & I still have the car going in for repairs, so will have another bill to pay (luckily, the garage sends a bill through the post, so won't pay that until after Friday next week.
Back doing surveys again just to gain a few pennies to offset the change from weekly to monthly paid.Never Knowingly Understood.
