POPLA refusal! need help

Hi all,
Firstly, sorry for the new thread, I am not sure as to the correct procedure on thisforum. I’ve tried the search function etc.but all cases seem a little different, and I don’t have any experience withthis stuff! However, all responses seemedhelpful, so I’ll give it a crack! Here’smy problem:
I receiveda window ticket at ‘Plymouth Science Park’ in Plymouth. Car park is covered by Premier Parking Solutions(PPS). I have a permit but it wasn’t ondisplay. I stupidly wrote an e-mailappealing to the window ticket, on account of me owning a permit so really I wasallowed to park there. Naively I figuredthey would see that I was a tenant and let me off!
This obviouslywas rejected. I then found this forumand got a bit more clued up (and frustrated at how much easier this could havebeen). I wrote what I thought was akiller letter to POPLA, based on the advice from this forum.
I have justhad the letter from them today saying this has been rejected, with a zipp filefull of photos and witness statements. They even mocked my attempt to copy and paste a template from a forum! Now I don’t know what to do. The problem is that in my first appeal I wasidentified as the driver and keeper. Theirresponse was fairly detailed and they are defiantly not budging. They didn’t give me any clear instruction to whatthey expect me to do now, i.e. pay the £100 fine, pay the £60 earlybird fine(unlikely), pay the calculated cost of £101.33.
All a bitconfusing.
Lots ofadvice at this stage seems to be ignore everything from here on? I don’t know what to expect next. My worry is court obviously, and if it getsthat far, what’s the worst case scenario?
Greatly inneed of advice!!
Thanks verymuch!

I suspect you have NOT had a refusal from POPLA. What you HAVE had is the parking company's POPLA evidence pack. (POPLA would never make comments about template appeals etc.)
You need to go through this and rebut anything that is obviously incorrect.0 -
Could you post your PoPLA appeal text on here? If you 've got all the killer points No GPEOL etc then it should be winner. Remove ALL personal info though.
And do rebut their claims to PoPLA as GD suggests. You can email it - just make sure the PoPLA reference number is included in the email subject header.0 -
GD? Did he post here then delete it?0

I know. I was just pulling his leg.0

sounds like its the PPC evidence pack to me too, not the actual popla decision
so as stated, if its the evidence pack, it needs rebutting0 -
OK - so if you didn't use one of the PPS examples I have included in the Newbies thread post #3 'How to win at POPLA' then read the PPS versions now to see what you should have said - and say it by email to POPLA. And check the silly 'evidence' PPS have provided (can we see it please) and rebut every point so you have the last word, in an email to POPLA. You should have shown us your draft as PPS have won a couple of POPLA appeals this year against Newbies not being robust enough with the arguments about GPEOL and not rebutting that evidence pack in time. That's why I re-wrote long arguments for PPS cases and linked them in the sticky, so people could all win again (and they have).
Why on earth did you think you'd lost just because PPS sent you a copy of their evidence - it's an email from PPS not POPLA, which is completely normal as part of the POPLA process. POPLA haven't decided yet.
I presume you named yourself as driver (ooops) and never waited for the NTK?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Few, sounds like I just got there evidence pack, ill re check everything when I get to work on Monday. I'll try and post the letters etc up. I did use a template from the PPS link from the newbies thread. Thanks for the reassurance, I'll put more details up on Monday!
This forum is brilliant - thanks guys!0 -
Glad to hear you used the PPS template POPLA appeal but it would be very useful to see their latest evidence pack, asap, in case there is anything else you may need to say to POPLA as the final word.
You can host the attachments and dropbox and then post the URL here (change the http to hxxp and/or put a gap on the link because you are not yet able to post working links as a newbie.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
