Thanks :) I just had a look at that website myself. Good site, still can't afford any of the car parks! Going to the council to try and get it sorted today (day off work). A friend of mine is a taxi driver who also lives in the 'Central Zone' and he told me where to purchase a permit. We'll see if it works!

    Absolutely furious!!!!!!!

Got home tonight to find a letter from the council stating they cannot issue me with a parking permit as they have already allocated all the available permits on my street!!!!

I now have nowhere to park my car and may have to get rid of it! DUCKING RIDICULOUS!!!!

Just curious, ask you if they've issued more than 1 permit to any of the addresses there, if so.........not fair to you! If they won't tell get your Councillor to ask & if they have complain to him/her.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

One permit can be issued per household, then you can add a second car to that permit, but I think you can only use it to park one car at a time. You don't get two permits.

Did the person who lived in the flat before you have a permit? Have they returned it?

The flat is only recently converted/refurbished, so as far as I know, we're the first people to live there.
