I noticed this also on their website ts and cs

Rather poor , they seem to be making a few mistakes.

I assume this is the document http://www.theguide2surrey.com/Media/TG2/Menus/CHRISTMAS-AND-PARTY-PACKAGES.pdf?ext=.pdf

It states CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHT STAYS from £59
Price includes bed and breakfast and is per room.
Quote promo code XMS when booking

If you had seen this you would have known that the £9 was a very obvious error

If you are not attending a Xmas Party there you could maybe try the XFF code (visiting Friends and Family) and see if it is better than the £99

It's a strange site. They charge you £ 2.50 to use a credit card and whilst family rooms cost £49 in the sale, they then charge you a supplement for children.

They always make mistakes had a similar one last year where I think it was £50 for a room including £30 food and drink voucher. Every time I tried to book online it said I couldn't have the deal - even though it was advertised. I went to the hotel to check (I drove past every day, I didn't go out of my way) and the staff told me the deal ended before December. So I sent an email to the website contact just to say it's still advertised can you fix this. They came back saying the deal was still on and phoned me to book it!
Really bad communication with staff I suspect.

Have you ever stayed in a Village hotel?

If the ones in Coventry and Leeds are anything to go by (I'm a slow learner) £9 a night is about right.

I've stayed at The Village in Cheadle a couple of times. Nothing wrong with it. (I wasn't paying mind - it was a business trip so expenses paid for it).
