Any advice?
Hi all,
Mine & OH contract with T Mobile finishes at the end of this month. We would both like to change our handsets to a Sansung D900. In the past when we have contacted our providers (not necessarily just T Mobile) they want to charge for the new handset and no amount of persuasion has made any difference. So we then cancel our existing contract andtake out a new contract with someone else and are then bombarded with phone calls trying to talk us round to staying with them but by then it's too late, new contract agreed with someone else. Is there a specific department we should talk to in the first place?

I don't specifically know the department with T-Mobile, but it usually is the cancellation/retention department.
Instead of taking out a new contract, ask T-mobile to convert to PAYG, tell them that you will only be on PAYG until you source a new provider.
This way you can wait until they try and retain you without being tied into a new contract with someone else.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0
