Sky's 12 month free broadband deal

Our broadband is useless (Fuel Broadband which uses TalkTalk's lines - don't do it!) and the 12 month contract has finally ended so we were looking for a new deal with a more reliable provider and came across Sky's new deal (the one with the Toy Story ads). It offers 12 months free broadband with £15.40 line rental. Great, I thought, bet its a 24 month contract - No. Its not. Its a 12 month contract.

So basically I'm confused. It seems far too good to be real and like there should be a catch that I have missed. I thought I'd see if it was explained on here at all but it's not mentioned at all on the 'Cheap Broadband' page even though its cheaper than all the deals on there.

So in other words, does anyone know any more about it?

Thanks.
