Are you selling on? If so it would be Private Light Goods for simplicity.

Private Light Goods was discontinued years ago and replaced by:
Petrol Car, Diesel Car, Alternative Fuel Car, or Light Goods.

    Wrong again.
I have three V5Cs all issued in August this year with tax class PLG.
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....

I can hand or heart say that as as late as last Monday, I'm still filling in PLG on the V62 and I have never, ever had a hold up, or refusal to issue a V5C.

Old cars that were 'PLG' are still 'PLG', but Tax Class 49 is a Diesel Car.

Thanks for wasting my time Rover Driver (there's an aspiration for you), have you ever seen, filled in or otherwise been in the same room as a V62? Thought not. Why enter such unsubstantiated garbage on a motoring help site?

Cars and light goods vehicles registered before 1 March 2001

    Private/light goods (TC11)

I think Rover Driver is technically correct, Colino.
