Not really. Follow the dispute process. Unless either you or the LL want to go the court route instead there is no need for a letter before action.0 -

We use " mydeposits " as student landlords and can therefore refund the deposits quickly at the end of the tenancy0

Having received further incorrect advice from a representative from DPS , we are no further forward with this and have decided to go down the small claims route.
We intend to send the LL a letter before action, does anyone know of a template that we can use, just something simple.0
