Happy Christmas diary

We're having a fab day here
The kids are very happy with everything they got, no ridiculously expensive stuff (luckily none of them wanted any) and the youngest as usual was more interested in the boxes
And so begins 365 days of Christmas shopping
I love shopping in the sales!
Back to work for me tomorrow, at least I always get this day off
Hope everyone reading is having a good Christmas Day :xmastree:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

Good evening diary

Raided the Boxing Day sales today (love next!) and managed to spend about £100  but that did include a new £80 watch for DH birthday.
Jumped on the wifi fat, turns out I've put some weight on
and now weigh 14st 11lb so have given myself a new challenge alongside my debt busting
Would be nice to hit 12st something again

Happy new year diary

Well I totalled up debts for the end of the year (and this isn't including the car as I'm still unsure on the total)
CC1 £900 (0% till Jan 2018)
CC2 £705 (0% till March 2017)
Total amount owed £1,605
Should be easy to make headway with this part of the debt :j
I'm off to sleep now, can't believe it's the beginning of a new year already

Hello diary

Well the new year is now a couple of days old and I've been reasonably good with money so far.
Was going to take the kids to the local play place on New Year's Day while DH recovered from his hangover, but one of the kids wasn't well so that saved us a few quid.
Then yesterday we were going to go out for dinner (would have cost us about £60) as we haven't been to our favourite restaurant in ages. The kids had helped themselves to some toast just before 12 so that ruled out going out for a big dinner at that point, so thought about McDs but ended up spending £6 or so on some desserts in the local supermarket and having sausage and mash from all the Christmas leftover spuds. Very MSE :rotfl:
Kids back to school from tomorrow so no more splashing out in them as back to work again
Need to do loads of housework today and start getting uniforms sorted

Good evening diary

Managed to stock up on cheap food today
so we're going to try and eat the contents of the freezer and cupboards for January, so should be a cheap month for shopping.
Still need to concentrate on the money saving. We're about 2/3 of the way towards clearing the car debt.
Can't wait to celebrate being debt free :jHistoric Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
