  • NOOOO do the red lipstick :D
I used to feel like I couldn't wear lipstick 1) because I would probably smear it everywhere and 2) because I thought people would think I was trying too hard but now I wear lippy of different shades pretty much every day!

A good way to wear red lippy is using a matte textured one (looks more casual during the day than a shiny one I personally think) and I usually keep eye make up simple or have my big geeky glasses on (prescription) and pull my hair into a bun or keep it simple and keep the outfit on the more casual/ less colourful side. I find it looks nice without making you look try-hardy.

of course if you're going on a night out with it ignore most of the above and wear it with pride :P hehe :p

Thanks :) I may well try the matte look for an evening, just to try it! I wear glasses all the time, so will probably help to balance. Thaank you to everyone for all the advice. Nowneed to gain enough of a social life to try it!

Uu Elemis milk bath, this smells divine but is definitely not worth the price, wnba
Uu Elemis quiet mind bath elixir, I admit to loving the entire quiet mind range but I'm trying to discipline myself not to waste so much money on stuff that literally goes down the plughole so probably wnba

    Happy pampering xo
  • Some UU's

Boots Botanicals Body wash - not keen on smell, nothing special in my opinion. WNBA

Garnier restoring and brightening night cream - Ok but I have used other creams I prefer so WNBA

Dove pro age body cream oil - I am impressed with this. Most lotions are no where near moisterising enough for my skin, but this is really rich. WMBA unless I can find another HG.

Since I finished my Garnier night cream I started using the cream my OH brought me back from China that was so beautifully packaged (I posted a picture earlier). I seems to be like an old-fashioned vanishing cream. Sinks in immediately leaves my skin soft and smells delicately of rose.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

Hi ladies anyone know any decent face creams for under £10 x

All the A!di Lacura range is very good. I personally really like the facial serum, but the Q10 cream is cheap as chips for a 75ml tube and has a SPF of 15, suitable for all skin types. I use their top range cream , Expert, too.

UU Next Enchanted bath creme being used as shower creme. WIBA? Can't, this was a gift that had probably sat unloved in someone's cupboard for a decade before I got it. I don't think Next have sold it for years!

It still cleaned me though and had a vague scent that wasn't unpleasant.

On to the last of last Christmas' shower gels/creams now. OS Honey and Shea Butter and around 75 ml of Avon Cranberry and Cinnamon left over from last year.

If you want to ease yourself into the red lip look, I would suggest trying the cherry maybelline babylips first. It may be a tinted balm but it's actually quite pigmented when you put it on!

I have a couple of small UUs, may have more later...

Gucci guilty small perfume sample bottle. This was quite nice but I usually buy cheaper scents for myself.

Small bottle of my olay refreshing face wash, this was just a decanted bottle left over from my holiday.

I have quite a few sample sachets to use up, so I may dig into these later to get using them up :)

    I have a little uu

Ren Morrocan Rose Otto Shower Gel 50ml - this was lovely but I don't think I need to pay Ren prices for shower gel, the Dr Organics range from Holland & Barrett has a rose shower gel and body lotion and they are much cheaper but still really lovely.

Hello ladies and a warm welcome to ellysi, alja and BellaBargains. :)

I have another use up from my latest Project Pan list to declare: Redken Oliance Extra-Moisturizing Aminoleic Shampoo sachet 8ml. There was only enough in the sachet for one wash, but it was really lovely and left my hair nice and silky. This was a free sample sent to me absolutely years ago and the shampoo has long since been discontinued.

I also painted my nails on Sunday with Sally Hansen Lustre Shine in Firefly, a recent purchase from a local Poundworld.
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

Thank you for the welcome :) ...nail polish, now that's definitely one area I need to work on. I have so many bottles needing to be used up. I think I'll give myself a nice manicure and pedicure later :)
