You should read other CEL threads though - you do realise that sometimes they do issue court papers but in fact they NEVER turn up to a hearing (not since they lost the CEL v McCafferty appeal). If a person gets court papers from Civil Enforcement, they merely have to submit a defence and fill in the court forms and meet the deadlines, then turn up AND claim costs!! In fact, the poster called 'emanresu' on pepipoo forums (which will pop up in your Google results when you do better searches!) has a line in his 'signature' under each post to say something like 'Got a claim from CEL? Go to the hearing to collect your free £100!'
You should search this form and pepipoo for 'Coop' as a keyword, no need for hyphen.
You MUST complain to the Co-op about this drivel (if it was indeed a Co-op car park) and there are literally dozens of forum threads talking about who to email at the Co-op. Only read 2014 results and don't be fooled by the fact the Co-op used to pay these off for customers as that rarely happens now unless you are very assertive and good at complaining 'to the top' and not taking no for an answer.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
