• We bought a corner leather sofa from Isofas on Ebay on 22th November 2014, looked absolutely fantastic and was delivered very quickly (first week December), so hence we gave positive feedback on Ebay. On 27th December we noticed a tear has appeared towards the joint of the seat and the backrest.
Since then I have called them 3 times, emailed them 5 times, my emails kept getting 'lost' until I called them and threaten to contact Trading Standards and then they call me back and said that they will send someone to fix the sofa in situ, and 3 months later I'm still waiting.
The tactic of these guys seems to be to simply ignore you for as long as they can and then continue to re-assure you that they will do something to fix your sofa for as long as they can, without actually ever doing anything . They offer a '1-year warranty' on Ebay but we were never told what are the terms of that warranty, so in effect it is just an empty promise, because it doesn't hold them to anything.
Bottom line: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!! You'll be as sorry as we are!
• I have purchased a white leather corner sofa 6 months ago from this sofa store. Absolutely wonderful sofa! It arrived 7 days ahead of their shipping schedule, they provide excellent customer service, and their website is very easy and straight forward to use. Highly recommended if anyone considering for purchase leather sofa on online. Check them out!

Lol at janetimps. Internet Forum rule number one: When a company resorts to joining a forum, pretending that they are a customer and posting about how good their own company is, then it is because they have their back to the wall and are about to go down the pan financially.

Thank you for the warning.

The issue I was highlighting was 2 x different LTD co's trading from the same address with 25yr / 21yr old directors
& the website is showing a residential address, rather than the trading address & the company is now by the Accountants

Just make sure that you pay via Credit card, so if it does go titsup, you can get your money back
Hi I'm new to this forum and joined because of this awful company. Bought a sofa within months it started falling apart and as with everyone else I have had the run around. Beware I paid by credit card but because the company trade in one name and invoice you in another the credit card company say they can't pursue the claim. I have to find a link between the two companies and can't.

there is a website called: https://who.is

you can enter any website address at all on it and you will get info about who "owns" (registered) that site, put in isofas.co.uk and you get the info posted by tk peters as this is public info

put the company number into Companies House search and you will get the directors details, using that you can also see what other companies they are associated with by clicking on their names on the officers page. This will get you the info already posted by TK Peters. What else do you want?

You may have to pay for some of the Companies House info on the filing history page if you want more than just the free online .pdfs
https://www.gov.uk/get-information-about-a-company

You can use creditsafe to get much the same (free) info along with a credit assessment, although you do have to register (free) for that

• Thanks booksurr. I have checked companies house but could not find a link between Isofas and Home Furniture Outlets which is what my credit card company require. I'll try the other links and hopefully I can progress this matter. It's a shame that they are still trading in such a bad way with very poor quality goods
• Hi net net.

. If you log into ebay and look at there account isofas and click user id history . It will give you all their past id names if you google each one and their phone numbers it will give you a world of knowledge about this rouge company. They send dodgy cheap faulty sofas and promise you the world over the phone and nothing happens. on their ebay account it gives you past names of isofas 07-Oct-13 Present

• If you are about to buy a new sofa please please don't go to isofas.co.uk as you are going to be disappointed. We purchased sofa from them on 25th February 2016, paid by debit card £898 for a sofa which my wife was really looking forward to receiving.

Paid £100 for delivery with a delivery date of 13th March. After numerous phone calls to the company and huge amount of excuses we finally received the sofa on 2nd May, nearly 3 months after we had paid for it.

To my disbelief the sofa they supplies was THE WRONG SOFA!!!!!!! . I called them regarding this and was told that they would come and replace the sofa withe correct one within 2 weeks. i then had to phone them again as they had not delivered and the excuses began again with another delivery date in yet another 2 weeks. This continued for another 6 weeks until I finally asked for them to collect the sofa and refund my money.

I was then told that it would be a number of weeks before they could pick up the sofa and offered a refund of £150,bearing in mind I has paid £100 for delivery and had the wrong sofa delivered. After considering this pathetic refund offer and several more weeks and numerous calls, I finally accepted a refund of £250, but again this didn't happen and I ended up with a refund of £200 and a sofa that I didn't want.

And so just to let anyone who's intending to buy a sofa to give this company a miss and look elsewhere, or you might just end up like me, disgusted with the whole situatiion.

Don't Buy from ISOFAS you will definitely regret it
• Isofas is now trading in ebay as Imodern 2015, same company with same directors so buyers beware. Probably a name change because of so many ripped off customers
