How do I make Vodafone give me the retention deal I want?......

I have been with Vodafone for 4 years now, and every year have upgraded to the latest phone and managed to get some really great deals out of them.
Currently I get:
SE K800i
12 Month contract
750 mins
250txt
£35

My contract is up for renewal, but instead of wanting more mins or txts I want less. I want Nokia N95-gonna sell it on Ebay! The thing is, my friend has that family thingy so when she calls me or I call her its free, so I usually have mins left over.

I don't want to lose too many mins, my main priority is the price.
How do I go about getting Vodafone to lower my price and giving me the phone I want? Its so much easier when I want to upgrade everything!

I would want something in the region of :
N95 (12 month contract)
700mins
250 txts
£25

Do you have a benchmark to work from? What is their current offer for 12 months with the N95? Also, do you have quotes from the other providers to use to bargain with?

hmmm well you may have to pay some cash towards the phone to get it

orange do it for £50 for 12 months, £35 per month 400 mins 50 text
vodaphone do it £55 12 months £35 per month, 500 mins 250 texts

phone them and ask them to give you the phone for free, if they say no wait a day or so, they will phone you back when you say you want out, quickest way is to ask for your pac number as it shows to them that you are transfering your number and mean business. they will most likely try and do a deal then and there to stop you getting your pac number, they may ask why you want out, tell them you can get the phone you want for free with orange but you only get 600 mins and 200 txt or something.
