My daughter has already tracked the number and has seen the signature... which is just like a squiggly Y... cos our surname begins with Y... but definately not her signature!!

Once again. There is also gps tracking. As per my first post. You dont have access to this

RM state they deliver to the stated address NOT addressee, if it has been pilfered following delivery (appears likely) then it is an insurance claim. If the letterbox is shared, then clearly it is not ideal for valuables.

The BusCo and RM are not responsible for the theft.

This entirely depends on if RM delivered to the correct address. Either they did and a housemate has stolen the item, or they misdelivered it. Either is possible.

As for court, you'll lose. They have completed the purchase and the rest is up to you to find the miscreant.

There is no such certainty. It is only up to OP to find the miscreant if the item has been stolen post delivery.

PM custardy the number. That way at least you'll know if it's been misdelivered elsewhere or not.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
